JOANA GRANERO SANCHEZ Director
Founder and director of Tristana Media, Joana was born in Tarragona. After graduating in Law from the University of Barcelona she spent a couple of years in Italy and then moved to London, where she worked in publishing and got a MSc in Political and Social Theory from Birkbeck College. Out of a passion for cinema she created the London Spanish Film Festival in 2005, an event that was to fill a gap in London's cultural panorama by bringing contemporary Spanish cinema in a well-defined context. In 2008 the Ambassador of Spain in London awarded her with the civil merit medal (Orden de Isabel la Católica) in recognition of her work with Spanish cinema. She also works as an independent curator and producer.

NOEMI CUETOS FERNANDEZ Head of Press
Born in Vitoria, 1983, Noemi graduated in Journalism & Audiovisual Communication from the University of Navarra, with an intercalary semester studying at the University of Sheffield. She has worked at various Spanish newspapers, in radio, a Non Governmental Organisation, a film distribution company, on a movie as a production coordinator and as a press officer at several international film festivals (San Sebastian, Punto de Vista, London Latin American Film Festival, Edinburgh International Film Festival, The Times BFI London Film Festival, Doha Tribeca Film Festival).

BEA SEGURA Public Relations
Born in Barcelona, Bea studied Dramatic Arts in the Institute of Theatre in Barcelona University. After an MA in Drama in HB Studio, New York, Bea started her acting career in Theatre (Molière, Shakespeare, Chekhov, Lope de Vega etc...), Television (Hospital Central, Los Serrano, Al Salir de Clase etc..) and Film (Salvador, Hierro). Bea is now sharing her time between Spain, where she continues with her acting career, and London.

Born in Melbourne, Australia, Karen has lived in London since 1993. Following a design background culminating in employment as Design Manager for a London based publishing company, she now runs Kargan Media delivering both print and online projects. Kargan Media has also worked on several digital arts and media projects. She has been involved since the beginning with Tristana Media and the London Spanish Film Festival.

PABLO GOIKOETXEA PEREZ Photographer
Born in Vigo (Spain) Pablo has lived in London since 2002, where he studied Photography and Professional Imaging at Thames Valley University (BA hons). An experienced photographer with an original portraiture and documentary background, he has been working with institutions such as Tate Modern and Ciné Lumière besides developing his own personal projects. He has been involved with this Festival since 2007, when he started to develop a series of editorial portraits of guests, and has expanded his practise towards commercial videos and films.

Pablo is a Reader in Translation and Filmmaking at the University of Roehampton, where he teaches Filmmaking, Dubbing, Subtitling and Respeaking. Pablo is also a filmmaker. His first documentary, Joining the Dots (2012), was premiered at the 2012 London Spanish Film Festival and screened during the 69th Venice Film Festival. Born in Girona, 1986, Sílvia graduated in Audiovisual Communication from the Pompeu Fabra University (Barcelona). Combining her passions in cinema and theatre, she went to Argentina to study documentary film and acting. In 2010 she returned to Barcelona to study for an MA in Cultural Management, studying one of the terms at the City University of London. She has experience as a programmer in several cultural centres, as assistant producer for various events and as a stage manager in theatre. She joined Tristana Media in 2012.

Born in 1986, Patricia graduated in Journalism & Audiovisual Communication from the University Carlos III in Madrid, studying one year in England. She has worked as a journalist for the national Spanish newspaper El Mundo as well as in the theatre company Escena Turística in Madrid. Following her passion for film she moved to London to study a Masters in Film Studies at Kingston University. Since then she's been working in video production and dubbing documentaries. She joined Tristana Media in 2011.
