The works in this exhibition document Eulàlia Ramón's longstanding dialogue with the work of sculptor Xavier Mascaró. A series of photographs that provide us with a space for reflection on the nature of the artistic process; and where the dispassionate gaze of the camera is tempered by a deep sympathy for the subject.
Eulàlia Ramón has appeared in more than thirty feature films. Photography has been a passion of hers since the age of 19 and her work has been exhibited in Spain and abroad. Ramón has collaborated with sculptor Xavier Mascaró since 2002 and she has produced the photographs for several of Mascaró's exhibition catalogues.
Born in Paris to Spanish parents, Xavier Mascaró produced his first paintings and etchings at the age of 14 and began to work with iron in 1995. Mascaró currently lives and works between New York and Madrid and his works have been exhibited around the world.
